Bespoke Tours by Tony Jackson, Butlers of Mayfair
Video of Tony Introducing tour: https://youtu.be/UinXQjeiguI
Tony Jazz met me at Green Park, looking very dapper as always. His hat, his signature piece was cocked elegantly on his head, a sign to me which meant, this is business. Tony greeted me with an affable handshake after enquiring about my general well-being and my journey into town. He then proceeded to brief me about the day as we walked around the corner to The Mayfair Hotel, where he further explained about his Bespoke Tour and what I was to expect. I was already feeling very special. Have you seen the inside of the MayFair?? I felt I should've worn my Cinderella slippers.
A true font of knowledge and a true gentleman, Tony's knowledge, enthusiasm and great sense of humour was infectious enough for me to have had one of the most pleasant and fun-filled days in a very long time. A great tour executive with an impressionable character I learned so much about a history I initially was not even interested in.
As the day progressed we amassed sleek looking business cards, some scented with hues of expensive perfume or aftershave. We were also given plenty gifts and samples along with lots of firm handshakes - the building of potential business and a recognition of respect between each party.
Tony a gentleman of his word, opened doors, carried my bags, (Well not the rucksack which was laden with everything but the kitchen sink) and introduced me to the Sales Executives. As the tour came to an end, there was a surprise stop for Lunch at The Mayfair Hotel, where Tony presented me with a gift from The Butlers of Mayfair, his company.
I highly recommend this tour. For more information details are provided at the bottom of this email:

BELOW ARE A SELECTION OF IMAGES TAKEN ON THE DAY:
"Burlington Arcade is a covered mall of small exclusive shops, many with their original signs, situated between Piccadilly and Old Burlington in the heart of Mayfair, London. What makes Burlington Arcade unique is that here you will find the oldest and smallest police force in the world."
Opened to great acclaim in 1819, Burlington Arcade is one of Britain’s earliest shopping arcades and was built by Lord George Cavendish, later Earl of Burlington, ‘for the sale of jewellery and fancy articles of fashionable demand, for the gratification of the public’. Since then it has been patrolled by the Burlington Beadles who uphold a strict code of conduct dating from Regency times.
Originally recruited by Lord Cavendish from his regiment The Royal Hussars, the Beadles are easy to spot, dressed in their uniform of Victorian frock coats, gold buttons and gold-braided top hats." Ellen Castelow
